Eugenia Pardue's paintings are an exploration of how paint responds to new demands. She uses paint as a sculptural medium. By limiting her palette to white, the artist focuses on breaking the plane. She imbues the surface with a Baroque orchestration of forms and projects three-dimensional elements out of the flat plane of painting.
